Works and References

Working with and on ice since 1993, Katja is seeking for the bridges between art and movement on the ice and the sustainable questions of our time. She is doing pioneering work in the arising art form of Contemporary Ice Skating, crossing various art genres like visual, media, light and sound artists, to find answers for my questions.
Born in the political exciting year of 1989 in Germany, she has always been torn between the needs of belonging and seperation, a rooted home and wanderlust, living in the interspace of past and present.
As educated coach, guide and pedagogue Katja challenges her fellowers and audience with the same questions and the vision of growing awareness and responsibility among them.
